2024 NFL Draft Preview

 

Hello all! Long time no see. Been busy with life and stuff and just haven't had the passion to write lately. Anyways, we are back for the 2024 draft preview. I was doing mocks and decided to write a post on my takes on some of the best picks for each team. First I will go through each team and provide my personal opinion for a couple players that would fit their team, there may be overlaps but I am going to try to estimate what could possibly be available at their pick. I will post my current personal mocks below afterward but I will be going over each pick as if no trades happened.

#1 Chicago Bears

Not going to talk much here, we have known for months now that the Bears are going to stay here and draft Caleb Williams.

#2 Washington Commanders

The 'Manders are tricky, I haven't really heard any strong arguments of who they are really interested in, but I think its probably down to Maye or Daniels. No arguments from me there, they need a new QB.

#3 New England Patriots

A month or so ago I thought they were trading this pick. Now I'm almost positive its gonna be J.J. McCarthy here. They seem to be showing a ton of interest in him.

#4 Arizona Cardinals

If they stay here it will almost certainly be Marvin Harrison Jr. and thats completely fine. Unless they like one of the other WRs better. Who cares, just take a WR here if you don't trade the pick.

#5 Los Angles Chargers

I think they are trading this pick but if they don't I'd take the best WR available.

#6 New York Giants

Tricky spot here for the Giants. They are locked into Danny Dimez' contract for years. They could grab the best QB available which could possibly be Maye or McCarthy, or they could take the best WR on the board.

#7 Tennessee Titans

Just take Joe Alt and move on.

#8 Atlanta Falcons

If one of the 3 elite WRs is still there I think there is an argument for that, otherwise just take Dallas Turner.

#9 Chicago Bears

Here the Bears should go DEF. Anything on the line will do. EDGE or Tackle.

#10 New York Jets

Go get Aaron Rodger the absolute dawg in Brock Bowers and hopefully you bounce back. A month ago I had Bowers going to CIN, but hes too good not to take here.

#11 Minnesota Vikings

They are probably trading up for a QB but if not PLEASE grab Terrion Arnold, hes the best CB in the class and you are DESPERATE for secondary help apart from a QB.

#12 Denver Broncos

Both players that they should consider should be there at 12. Latu or Nix.

#13 Las Vegas Raiders

Take Nix if hes there. If not grab the best OT or CB on the board

#14 New Orleans Saints

Probably take Verse, but OT is another option.

#15 Indianapolis Colts

Take the best CB on the board. But for real, just trade up and grab one of those top 3 WRs

#16 Seattle Seahawks

O-Line is the one and only option here. Take the best one

#17 Jacksonville Jaguars

The Jags need secondary help. If Mitchell is there great, but still take the best CB.

#18 Cincinnati Bengals

If Byron Murphy falls this far its a steal for the Bengals. Id draft the best DL available here.

#19 Los Angles Rams

Draft the best O-Line available and move on. Time for Stafford = Time for Puka and Kupp to torch people.

#20 Pittsburgh Steelers

Well, well, well Mike Tomlin you son of a bitch, back into the playoffs again somehow. Honestly it doesnt matter what the Steelers get here. They will painfully be 9-8 again, make the Wild Card round and lose.

#21 Miami Dolphins

If there are any good edge rushers left, now is the time.

#22 Philadelphia Eagles

Grab the best CB on the board. Cooper DeJean might still be there.

#23 Minnesota Vikings

If they haven't traded up to get a QB and stay here, get Michael Penix Jr.

#24 Dallas Cowboys

Xavier Worthy, nuff said. Would be gross for Dak.

#25 Green Bay Packers

Best CB on the board. Preferably Kool-Aid.

#26 Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sleeper pick is they pair the safeties from UofM and grab Nubin, but I think they are most likely to go O-Line here.

#27 Arizona Cardinals

Alright you got this pick for Will Anderson... Happy? Well, get the significantly less talented Darius Robinson I guess, but you clowns should have just grabbed Anderson last year.

#28 Buffalo Bills

I have Nubin mocked to them every time.

#29 Detroit Lions

Probably Interior O-Line here, even though its a reach, its what ya need.

#30 Baltimore Ravens

PLEASE GRAB ADONAI MITCHELL. (Sorry my Ravens fan was showing)

#31 San Francisco 49ers

Grab best OL

#32 Kansas City Chiefs

They will grab another WR for Mahomes. Probably one of the Texas boys if either are there.

Anyways those are my vague thoughts on the draft next week. Below are my two current mocks. Different trades in each one.
